Observation

There were no children currently enrolled and/or present. In the restroom there was lotion and baby powder in the mirror cabinet. There was also baby powder and on the shelves under the diaper changing table. There was toothpaste in a cup by the faucet. The licensor provided techinical assistance regarding storage areas that these items could be placed that already have child latches on cabinets and drawers in the space or to put a lock on the mirror cabinet. Informed provider to remove the baby powder from the space. Discussed storage of medications if and when children enroll and possibly have diaper ointments. Permission will need to be given for usage of any of the medications. Example medication forms were observed in the prepared enrollment packets for families.
